Someone asked a question: Can Nigerian businesses totally rely on internet/online advertising ? In my opinion; No! As the internet population increases, the possibility will increase proportionally. But for now, I would suggest a blend of internet, mobile and print media for businesses that cant afford TV adverts.
Nevertheless If you are going into internet advertising for its cost effectiveness I suggest you get it right.
A lot of strategies available may not be advisable if you are targeting the Nigerian public, so you need to streamline your advertising target, budget and scope to achieve desired results.

Though it seems like it, THIS IS NOT COUPLES DAY! It is more like SHARING DAY! Have you ever tried smiling to a woman approaching you who looks like she’s had the worst of days? Even though she has never seen you before, its almost shocking how though not completely, her face seems to brighten up just a little. You just got back what you shared. A wise man once said (come to think of it I think it was me) : Whatever it is you WANT, GIVE! Today is that day to just give: not money only, smiles, encouragement, a wave of the hand, a simple Howdy? text message and loads of small things we consider flimsy. Do as much as you can. What you sow, You will surely reap.

Great attitude…you just can’t downplay this in anything you get yourself into, if not you will just keep getting in and out of stuff without achieving much, just because you couldn’t keep up the right attitude to stick it out long enough. You are sure to get discouraged from time to time, but you need to seek out encouraging inputs for your business and life’s issues.
